FOUNDATION OF YOGA, PILATES & MEDITATION

The foundations of yoga, pilates & meditation programme will not make you feel intimidated at any point. It is a beginner friendly course which will focus on flexibility. Whether you are looking to become flexible, lose weight or tone your body, this programme will get you on your mat and help you find what feels good.

Class Duration:  60 minutes (50 minutes of physical exercises + 10 minutes of guided meditation).

Frequency: 3 days/week which will help your body to gradually increase its flexibility and strength. 

Recommendation: It is recommended that the foundation programme is undertaken for at least 2 to 3 months to lay the foundation for the practice of all major asanas and mindful meditation. 

 

MORNING FLOW 

Morning practice is a gift. It launches your day with strength, balance and calm. It also opens you to your highest, most creative self. This is a small group class and is either held in our studio or a clubhouse in your condominium.

Class Duration:  60 minutes (50 minutes of physical exercise + 10 minutes of relaxation).

Frequency: 3 days/week. 

 

 

YOGA FOR WEIGHT MANAGEMENT  

We often blame our genes for us being on the wrong side of the scale, don't we? But try giving it a second thought and you will see that there is a lot that we can do.

We tend to seek the solution to weight loss in those pills or bottles and the those crazy diets. But the truth lies in the fact that there is no other alternative to hard work, torching those unwanted calories in a way, which is easy on your body and its fun too. For that you need to set your mindset right, for the mind is where it all starts.

Power yoga and intense pilates workout offers all the fat-burning potential – and cardio benefits -- of an aerobic workout. We use various props in our workouts to keep it fun and intense. The result is a workout that can be more aerobic than . . . aerobics!

 

Class Duration:  60 minutes (50 minutes of yoga + 10 minutes of meditation).

Frequency: 5 days/week. 

 

CORE STRENGTH BUILDING

Target specific areas of the body with your own body weight. This program is a fast paced, fun session that will help you build lean muscle mass from head to toe. Expect many reps set to high-energy music with intervals sprinkled in for  good measure. This class meets all requirements especially for those who have professions like athletes, dancers, sports persons or have had any medical condition like back pain etc. 

Class Duration:  60 minutes of mindful muscle building.

Frequency: 5 days/week. 

 

REHABILITATION PROGRAMS FOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Medical rehabilitation is a part of our wellness programs. We take care of injuries like back, neck, shoulder pain or any other ortho related injury through a customised program made out of Pilates and Yoga exercises. Pilates is a very effective way of rehabilitation. Part of its success is indeed based on the approach to the principles of Pilates - core strength, an even musculature, etc. But another reason is that it provides a greater degree of flexibility than most conventional forms of physical therapy. This is true because Pilates exercises can be modified for each person and still be extremely effective. We can go from basic movements to very advanced, depending on how a patient needs to progress or how badly they are injured.

We have had amazing results in post knee surgeries, back pains, shoulder injuries and so on.
